Michael Kral
Associate Professor
Michael Kral is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at Wayne State University and is also on faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at University of Toronto. He has been conducting community-based participatory action research with Inuit in Arctic Canada for over 21 years, studying suicide, suicide prevention, culture change, kinship, and Inuit youth resilience. He is also working with the American Indian Health and Family Services in Detroit on Native suicide prevention. Starting YGSNA was a joy and a great Yale community to have brought together!
