Jorge Cuellar, PhD student in American Studies

Jorge is a doctoral student in the American Studies program. He holds a BA in Film & Media Studies and Latin American & Iberian Studies from UC Santa Barbara and an MA in Critical Studies from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Broadly, his work explores inequality, indigeneity, cultural resistance, and state formation in Central America with special attention to El Salvador.
