Professor Nick Estes, an American Democracy Fellow at the Charles Warren Center for Studies in American History, will join YGSNA for a lunch discussion of his work on traditions of indigenous resistance and the Dakota Access Pipeline. At 5 PM, he will give a talk to the wider Native community entitled: “Going Off the Reservation: Traditions of Indigenous Resistance, Border Towns, and Oil Pipelines.” Dinner will follow.
