Kathryn Jones

Katie Jones (Cherokee Nation) is a third-year law student. She plans to use her law degree to represent Native nations and to protect and advance tribal sovereignty. Immediately preceding law school, Katie led Indian education policy and advocacy for the National Congress of American Indians, the oldest and largest national Native organization in the country. She has also worked as an elementary school teacher on the Rosebud Reservation and at the US Senate. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies with honors and distinction from Stanford University.
